AAR #1 I had a new 3D full color print to show off and CrashCraig brought his blue-fuselage Ottoman Empire Albatros C.III so we had a little photo recon mission with Todd and John defending the objective in Naval Sopwith Camels.
I didn't look closely at my model when it arrived in December. I wonder if a hot water bath will fix this.
After flying parallel for two maneuvers, Craig decides to bank to the right while the Sopwiths are closing.
Why is it when there is an overlap, my airplane is the one that has to use a card? My costume card for this custom airplane hasn't arrived so I had to use the card provided with Frommherz's Albatros D.III. However, Craig's observer is able to get some shots off on Todd.
Craig's on fire, John is overlapping me, and I'm still using a card. John gets two close shots on Craig, but his observer returns the favor.
Now, I am real again and get to show off my lovely smoke. Craig is heading for the objective with John on his tail and Todd in his way.
After much buzzing around, including Craig heading away from the objective, my escorting duties are over. Terrible draw of cards.
Unfortunately, Craig went down on the same maneuver.
Todd took some damage, but not enough to stop him. Craig commented on his apparent lack of displaying smoke. It would have boosted our morale.
John did not suffer very much. Looks like the Brits won this game.
