Default History Games Convention of the Museum of the Great War

Continuous day of presentation of Wings of Glory at the History Games Convention of the Museum of the Great War in Meaux Sunday January 30 2022.

Many visitors followed one another from 10am to 6pm around the WOG table to learn about the aerial combats of the First World War, while finishing their visit of the Great War Museum.
From the energetic 9 year old girl (3 flying sessions) to the young retiree, the audience was varied and enthusiastic.

With the participation of Stan95 and Monse for the animation.
And the friendly visit of 3 other members of Le Cirque Volant and the WOG Aerodrome : Absurdbanipal, Bastien and Jppbill.

Thanks to the Société des Amis du Musée de la Grande Guerre (SAMGG) and to the museum staff for their welcome and the organization of this gaming event, among the first of its kind since the successive sanitary restrictions and confinements.

The big bombers and the observation balloon were not used during initiation games, but perfectly fulfilled their mission of attraction of the public towards the WOG table.

Nothing better than a museum as a backdrop for gaming. I liked being at Bovington our national tank museum amongst the historic vehicles. I hope that venue becomes available again.

LE CIRQUE VOLANT at the History Games Convention at the Great War Museum in Meaux (Seine-et Marne, near Paris)
    Sunday January 29, 2023.

I'm hosting a Wings of Glory - Premiere Guerre mondiale table from 9h30 to 18h.
Presentation and initiation to the game (no tournament).

With game accessories, 2 WOG mats, several WWI single and two-seater aircraft figures, an observation balloon and a giant Zeppelin Staaken or Handley-Page O/400 bomber (visually impressive and historically interesting).

Excellent work Simon. The advantage of living in Ile de France rather than the rural North West .
