I still intend to come.
Thanks for the responses chaps - Look forward to seeing you all; let's make it a better day than the last one.

Confirming, myself and Simon will be there, arriving sometime just after 9am.
Dave have got a cloth and a caddy.
I shall pay a 'flying visit' later in the morning chaps, see you all there.
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Have a good one chaps.
Rob.
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
Great to see all the bodies that turned up today, faces old and new from all over the place and from quite some distance. I completely lost track of who was doing what and took only a few pics of the action but it was busy and there were a lot of smiling faces around the table and that is the best we can ask for.
I thank you all for your efforts and to use the phrase of the 'Young Mister Grace', who most of you may remember, "You've all done very well"!
I'll post some pics when I get back from a spot of Blighty leave but please post any you have. Cheers Dave
Attendees:
Me, Ajay, Flying Helmut, Baz, Hu Rhu, Rabscallion, Boney10, Maverick, Tonyc206 & a visit by Guntruck.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet you all at the event yesterday. Good games too. I'll put an AAR together for the two games that I played in sometime soon.
Nice to see everyone again, will post some photos tomorrow.
The first game involved Ajay (Andy) and myself on the camels against Boney10 (Chris) and a person who had just received a brief intro to the game from Hu Rhu (Gary) flying the DR1’s. The game was overseen by Boney10 (Chris). I soon got into a duel with the newbie and inflicted a boom damage (1/2 total points) whilst Chris and Andy engaged on the right. Andy soon had Chris in problems and brought him down.
The new person (in yellow) then flew around in the Lothar DR1 avoiding contact whilst on the end tables Gary and Rabscallion (Rob) provide further instructions to interested parties, while Maverick (Simon) looked on.
Chris then respawned with the MVR DR1 to make it 2 on 2 again.
After a short while, Chris was answering questions from the public, so Flash (Dave) took over the MVR. Meanwhile, Gary and Rob carried on giving interested parties (Dave his daughter and father) a taste of an intro reconnaissance game.
….Flash and Tonyc206 (Tony) discussing ‘drome business
Ajay picks up his second kill of the game, and with Lothar flying off the map due to extensive damage, a win to the camels with only 5 damage each at the end. (Tony, Chris & Gary chat in the background)
Rob giving instructions
A new battle looms for the regular ‘dormers with Tony, Andy and Flash taking the camels…
….sitting against them, Tim and two new interested parties who I helped with the game
All 6 planning their initial moves
Rob and Gary providing further instructions to interested event goers at the other end of the table.
Meanwhile Tony and Tim get down to close measurement, resulting in a short range broadside for Tony against Tim’s custom painted ‘Steffi’ DR1.
Tim left the battle soon after and with Lothar DR1 also getting shot down, left MvR to try his luck against 3 camels.
Too outgunned, the remaining DR1 falls to flash leaving all 3 camels on the field of battle. The two new attendees were more than happy and enquiring about buying the RAP packs and models!
Tables full of potential new flyers, with Tim and Chris nearest the camera.
Rob and Gary, providing further instruction, on a newbie 2v2, Pfalz III’s v Camels.
Gary and I then joined newcomers (Dave, daughter and Dad) to set up a quick 3v3, Pfalz III’s and a DVa v Camels.
Meanwhile, on another 3v3 on the main table things were getting close (Tony may be providing an AAR on this later)
Another enjoyable event, nice to meet Chris, Tony and Maverick (Simon) for the first time and good to catch up with the others. Thanks to Flash for organising it all and Tim for the shop and games. Always good to see Ajay, Rob and Gary again (thanks for the drinks), just a flavour of a busy day where I think we got a few more people interested in the game.

Wasn't me being shot down in photo #1, but otherwise great report!
It was good to meet up with so many of the chaps once again, and great to meet Tony at last.
I'll try to find time to post my photos, but I still haven't posted any from the previous FIVE events I attended!
I'll try, honest guv, I will try..........
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Well done, Baz.
Looks like a great time was had by all.
Well done, Baz, thanks for documenting the day, great pics
"He is wise who watches"
It was nice to see you flyers and even though I didn't play as I was busy selling stuff, it was good to chat with some of you.
Here's a sample of the few pics I managed to take - most of the event has thankfully been covered by Baz and Tony, cheers chaps !
The gathering of the clan - at least those there before the doors opened !
L-R: Simon (Maverick), Chris (Boney10), Tim (Flying Helmut)
L-R: Gary (Hu Rhu), Baz (Baz), Rob (Rabscallion)
I ran the first couple of recon games with Gary partnering a young club member from the show. It was a Belgian RE.8 v a pair of Pfalz D.III.
I managed to evade the youngster in game two, mostly due to a jammed rudder he gave me, and after a few exchanges downed Gary's Pfalz before making good my escape.
I was very lucky to get off with 1 point remaining - lower row are all +1's ! The jams helped me survive.
My luck didn't hold as I was shortly roped into playing Chris' place with my MvR Dr.1 - it started badly and went rapidly downhill !
Andy (Ajay) had a pretty good day though - here's a pic for him as his machine proudly displays two of the kills of the four he got on the day
Baz puts in a shift coaching a couple of victims, I mean, new guys !
Gary & Rob also hard at it on the training table with 'Bounce the Recon' scenario
Tim joins the new boys allowing Baz to give full attention to helping them..
I did say victims didn't I ? Despite an early set back of being set on fire I downed first one
Ajay & Tony harassed Tim to death - Andy's 3rd of the day
Then I bagged the other victim !
They played very well for first timers and really enjoyed the game so maybe they'll be taking to the air themselves soon.
The final game has already been covered very well by Tony elsewhere so I have nothing to add to that other than I lost to Chris.. again !
Another great day at Colours - we had forum members from North Wales, Essex, Kent, Middlesex, Somerset, Wiltshire & Dorset. A great spread. Thanks again chaps, you make it what it is.
