Default Well I fancied a bit of isolating...

So thatís my lovely wife with Covid (feeling like the flu, real flu not man flu) so not going anywhere for the next week at least. Nothing more than a few sniffles from yours truly (for now), so will be testing my gag reflex on a daily basis. On a plus note plenty of time to recover before Vapnartak.

    Sorry to hear this Chris.
I send my best wishes to you both for a speedy recovery.

Ug. Nothing to fiddle with. Hope you manage to avoid it altogether, and your wife's is as mild as this crap can be.

Unlucky Chris - hope all goes well for you all and there are no long lasting effects.

Chris, to your isolation from our isolation.
Similar to you, my wife has a mild case of the virus, while I tested negative. We both have to isolate, my wife for 10 days, and me for 14 days. (No, I didn't make a mistake with those numbers.)
I hope your time in isolation is uneventful.

Any chance you could get some Covid to me? I could do with 10 days off.....

A Hydrogen atom enters a bar; he rushes around, kicking chairs around and looking under all the tables.

<<Barman>> What the hell are you doing?

<<Hydrogen atom>> I've lost my electron! I'VE LOST MY ELECTRON!!!

    <<Barman>> Are you sure?

    <<Hydrogen atom>> Yes! I'm Positive!

    Thanks for letting us know.

Due to a Federal Government stuff up, RATs are virtually impossible to get here. Multi hour waits for PCR tests if you are symptomatic. The health experts admit the "current cases" numbers are pure fiction at this point.

Not that it matters too much, with 98.6% of adults over 12 doubly vaccinated, 36% boosted (and only 40% past the 4 month waiting period, so essentially all those who can be boosted have been), the collapse of the contact tracing and testing system is not the disaster it would be otherwise. Those between 5-12 have only had vaccines available since Jan 10th, so 40% jabbed in 3 weeks isn't bad.

Thanks for this light hearted contribution. I'm going to pass it on to my daughter. She enjoys a corny joke.
