It's not quite as written in the rules Dom - You check for tailing before each planning phase - if you put start of each turn most will misinterpret that as when you're ready to move ie after planning. You should put the SPAD player reveals their manoeuvre cards to the tailing pilot before play commences otherwise it reveal may be read as plays. You might want to include something on tailing & special damages to complete it.
Otherwise it really looks the part, I'd have a copy even though we rarely, if ever, use tailing.

Thanks for the feedback. I have updated the diagram, hopefully it is clearer now.
It looks great to me!
I thought the original was fine, too - you can't initiate your first check for tailing mid-turn; the first check must always come at the start of a new 3 card Turn, just as you had stated.
But the new version is better!

Steps 3 and 7: card is revealed to all players or just the tailing pilot?
Good point. In most cases it doesn't matter, except where there are two tailing situations happening at the same time...
By the rules it's supposed to be shown 'secretly' to the tailing pilot so they can rearrange their cards before everyone plays the cards for the first and subsequent phase, if tailing still applicable, but it matters not as long as everyone knows the tailing pilot must have a moment to re-order their cards before playing them.
