As there was only two of us last night, Mark and I decided to dig out my BoB set and do some WWII stuff. I flew the Spits and he the Stuka and 109.
1942 and a hit and run raid is made over Kent. A lone Stuka and his escorting bomb equipped 109 are ordered to hit some vital targets in England. Two Spitfires are flying against them. The Stuka quickly demonstrates that he is no novice when he knocks out the main target using vertical dive bombing. Pin point accuracy before the RAF even arrived to give battle!
But battle they did, and the Brave Stuka goes down but not before wounding the RAF pilot.
Meanwhile the second Spit closes in on the 109.
After a brief battle the 109 goes down too but not before releasing his bomb to destroy the second target!
Not a good look for the RAF who failed dismally to protect their ground assets.
So, who won? Targets destroyed but both German planes show down. Once again Mark proved himself to be a master bomber. The Spits were a bit too slow off the mark to affect his bombing.
