Default the museum of the Caudron brothers in Rue ( Somme, France)

(I don't know if the post is in the right place)
Small visit this weekend in the Somme .

The "museum" includes only one room adjacent to the tourist office but it is very nice and interesting. A lot of objects, reading : about the Caudron squadrons in 14/18, the first flying school of the world created in Le Crotoy where Bessie Coleman the first afro-american women gets her pilote licence etc.... and especially beautiful models at 1/10 scale.
I refer you on wiki for the history of the Caudron brothers

The Somme is in addition a place impossible to circumvent of the great war, if one goes until Paris then there will be a good complement with " real " Caudron has to see at the museum of the air of space M.A.E Le Bourget impossible to circumvent also ! : https://www.museeairespace.fr

Fox - a belated thank you for posting the museum pics, especially the G.4. I was motivated to paint one using this one as a model.
