In the group photo: in the background on the left, a member of the game store, in the center a customer observing futuristic game boxes)
Allies' objective: to bomb a target map on the city (central mat) with their 2 Bréguet 14 bombers.
The altitude rules are not used (first game for some players).
Each side has its own damage packages A and B.
1- From the beginning of the game, in the No Man's Land sector, the US Breguet 14 suffers a blocked left rudder which will prevent it from heading towards the city
2- The US Breguet 14 keeps in the area its escort Nieuport 28 and the 2 German attackers Rumpler C.IV and Phönix D.I.
3- The Rumpler C.IV is shot down by the US planes.
4- As the objective is reached by the French Breguet (see picture 5), the US Breguet returns to the base with its load of bombs, while the Nieuport 28 forces the Phönix D.I to move away.
5- Meanwhile, from the coast sector, the target is quickly destroyed by a shot at the goal of the French Bréguet 14, protected by its 2 wing fighters.
6- Pure dogfight and target seeking.
7- The Fokker Dr.I falls victim to a final shot from Hartney.
The Breguet returns to its camp despite an injury to its pilot.
8- The Nieuport 28 suffers a flame damage but it shoots down the Fokker D.VII, heavily damaged by the multiple attacks of the Snipe (itself finishes with only 2 structure points).
Outcome: Allied victory (of which the 5 planes resisted in spite of important damages for some), the Germans having lost 3 planes on 5.
