Hello all,
I first encountered Wings of Glory several years back but it was temptation from the good folk at Common Ground Games in Stirling that got me into it. Since then, like many, I have become acquainted with all sorts of odd corners of the Internet as I have rounded out my collection of WWI and WWII aircraft.
I am usually a space gamer, X-Wing specifically, but Wings Of has always been one of my favourite games to take on holiday. It looks great at a distance, packs up small, and gives me a chance to indulge my real hobby which is storage.
Looking forward to a return to in person gaming. The overtime fairy has been very kind to me over lockdown, and as such I've gone whole hog (well two P-47s) into WW2 as well. I'm itching to try Dambusters vs Martians as soon as I can get access to a table bigger than the one in my flat.
Glad to see a good old fashioned phpBB community is flourishing in this modern age of social media. Takes me right back to the early 2000s, and in a good way.
Cheers,
Drew
