Felixstowe firing arcs

I’m in the process of designing a 3D printed stand for my Shapeways Felixstowe and first stop was to pull out the plane cards from my Flight of the Giants box.

As I need to include the firing arcs as part of the base, the first step was to carefully measure them on the said card and that’s when I noticed something a bit odd. Look at the firing arcs for the front guns:



It seems to me that the firing arc for the copilot/gunner (B gun) stops on the wrong line. Surely it should extend all the way to the red line which is at right angles to the aircraft centre-line yet it stops at the arc for the nose gunner (A). I’m also wondering if the arc limit at the front for this gun should be angled a bit to port otherwise the nose gunner would be in danger of having his head shot off.

Think you're right about the right angled arc, Wayne. The co-pilots gun was higher than the front gunner's position so unless he aimed down he should be OK with the arc as set !
