And we are back, baby! It's been a long time since I and the mates have played some games. First, we had a little show and tell. BalticBob was showing off some members of the Lithuanian airforce. We have a Fokker D.VII, a Halberstadt CL.II, and a L.V.G. C.VI. I believe all are Shapeways models that Bob painted and finished with decals. The Fokker D.VII will be seen in the second AAR.
AAR #1 We only had three pilots at the beginning of the session and I really wanted to fly my AEG G.IV bomber, so we had a bombing mission with the AEG versus two Nieuport 28s flown by BalticBob and Todd (Pseudothiest). Here the Nieuports are trying to get behind me, but I did get some shots at Bob's #12. Todd's #14 is also coming in for the attack.
I managed to get past the two Nieuports and they are facing in the wrong direction. Will I be able to make it to the target with further hinderance. (at this point I had received two A damage cards from Todd, No Left Turn and No Right Turn. That really prunes the decision tree of what you will do on the next turn.)
Accumulated damage finally did me in. The bottom row are the last hits I took, but they were at +1 and that was enough to finish me off. BalticBob had seven points of damage while Todd took three hits; all goose eggs.
