Only had it for a few weeks and spent a lot of time experimenting so quite a few failures.
Also had to print a few pokemon models and pokemon related items for the boy

Just started my second litre bottle of resin. Also got some clear stuff to experiment with canopies.
I'm sure I'll have a few more boxes soon

The output by you guys with 3D printers is awesome.

Nothing shameful about that Tim, its great. I can't help but wonder, though, if another Tim we know has ever considered buying a printer. The subsequent output there would be interesting I feel

If you don't want to spend a bunch of time painting aliens, I found a color shifting paint called Darth Blue. I wanted my aliens to be shiny black with blue highlights... and that is just what this paint does. Put on a simple base coat of gloss black and then a very thinly spread around coat of Darth Blue... trim teeth and claws in silver and done. It dried hard as a rock, so I'm not even going to apply a finish lacquer coat.

Google " painting aliens Darth Blue" if you are interested. I suspect it would be even better if sprayed on, but I only paint board game pieces, so no airbrush for me.

And if you haven't assembled your aliens yet, pay special attention to fitting the tails so the glue can grab hold of something... they have a terrible fit and internet is full of tales of tails falling off. I had two such failures.

Jeff, I'll look at that, thanks. I've got 50 Prodos AvP Aliens and pinned the tail of every one of the buggers, so I will be doing the same with these ones.

Should open some fun action. The Ark Royal participated in the sinking of the Bismark while the Tirpitz was sunk by Lancasters in a fjord. Lots of fun indeed. So many bits and pieces but together they are rather cool! Next up .

Mark suggested that I add a small 'platform' in front of the peg to hold a jam counter. I would have to make it the correct dimensions to hold both styles of counters, the old (20.32mm diam as well as the new(16.19mm diam). Of course for 2-seaters I would have to add one for the rear gunner as well - not a big deal!

Do any other groups place a jam counter on the aircraft base as well as the requisite number of counters on their cockpits?

We do in our group. You may not need a platform, you could put in a raised semicircle to denote arc of fire, or, raised bumps on the arms, and simply catch the tokens between that and the peg. One size should fit all.
They look great in black by the way.

Placing a gun jam counter on the base is very helpful in remembering who cannot shoot. Something to hold a jam counter would be helpful, front and back for a 2-seater. Same would hold for a wounded crew marker.

Wayne - loving your skeletal bases but yes, I've been using jam counters and some tokens I have for wounds and engine damage on the bases as reminders, so my preference would be a solid base with firing arcs. Just one rookie's opinion

I put one of Keith's excellent gun jam markers on my aircraft (front and/or back) and the requisite number of the Ares tokens on the cockpit.
When using the 'one gun jam' rule for A deck planes I use the Nexus marker to indicate that one gun can still fire.

Zombicide - all expansions and kickstarter sets = painted

I was basking in the thought of the time I can now spend on WoG repaints... when I got a shipping notice for my Terraforming Mars Big Box Kickstarter set. There better not be anything needing paint in that big box!
