It is true that this Ferté Alais airshow meeting next to Paris ( where I had the chance to go often and sometimes be invited to the professional press day, which is easier to photograph planes ) has something special, it is smaller than Duxford Flying Legend UK or Oshkosh USA but its runway located on the side of a hill " Plateau de Cerny " and its old planes carefully restored by the J.B Salis association gives it a charm, Steven Spielberg like many others will call on them for his film: Empire of the Sun.

Wonderful to see these oldies flying. I got to see a G3 taxi down the field at Old Rhinebeck. Sadly on that day it was too windy to fly.
