A Generic color question

Hi everyone. So, i am just wondering what a good generic color might be for a multi-seater for Germany might be. I imagine tan as a base color for Allied planes, but i am wondering if there is, or was, such a base color for Germany, etc.

Lame question, i know, but i am curious.

Depends on the time scale.

1914 - 1915 clear doped linen (beige-ish)
1915 - 1916 "sky camouflage" - very pale i) blue ii) grey iii) cream iv) yellow
1916 - 1917 Albatros used the same scheme as their scouts, ie "warm straw yellow" fuselage, 3-colour wings dark green/pale Brunswick green/chestnut brown upper surfaces (replaced mid 1917 with dark green/mauve 2-colour scheme), pale blue undersides - other companies differed.
1917 - 1918 lozenge wings, sometimes on fuselage as well, sometimes fuselage in single solid colour (green, blue etc)
