Thread: Badges 2021

  1. #1

    Default Badges 2021

Hi all, hope you are all well and I am looking forward to seeing as many of you as is able at Doncaster this year.
The consensus looks like badges are a thing we want so I am starting this thread to collect names.

The intention is to have our standard badge with a Gold or Yellow, whichever is cheapest, scroll with Doncater 2021 in black on it.
For any new chaps I will see about getting a pic on here so you can see what we mean.

Now the bad news, costing, as yet we dont know as we need to get a few things sorted, design is set except for the scroll
To make this viable we need a minimum of 25, otherwise the company will not run the print.
Once we get the numbers we can then get a costing.

To that effect I will need to have names and commitments, so if you put your name down, you will be charged for a badge.

To get the badges done on time we need to get the order in by 7 June at the latest, so ok before hand but you will not get an order if placed after that date, sorry but we have to pay in advance so We are personally out of pocket until monies are collected
Because of this and to give you time to change your mind etc I need you to confirm your requirements as well as your full name and email to me by June 1.
Dont put the details on here pm me your full name and email plse.
I will put a master list on this thread showing your Handle and first name and number of badges requested plus I have a master list also.
So you not on my list again no badge.
Once we have the list compiled we will get a price and I will post before the June 7 cut off to give you time to change your mind.
Sorry to harp gere but gents if you commit to a badge you will be expected to pay for it, Once ordered I will pm all with the paypal account to pay into, I would geatly appreciate your help in paying promptly.
If you not got a paypal let me know and we can make other arrangements.

Any questions drop me a line and in meantime take care all, I dearly want to see your faces at Doncaster.

If we don't get any more takers, hit me up for another, so we get the required minimum number.

Does the £7.50 include the Paypal fees?

Hi David, as far as I am aware, there are no paypal fees, you are paying an individual, not for a service or buying goods from a company.
However if anyone knows different say so please.

The money is for the badge only

If you transfer money via PayPal to a friend, the sender pays the fees; if it's a business, they pay.
There are always fees with PayPal.

Have to say I was expecting to pay a fee when I selected the 'FRIENDS' option (I know, stretching a point as it's Simon we are talking about ) but for some reason I wasn't charged this time round.

    Monies sent!

There are never any fees on Paypal when sending to a friend; only if you select goods, services or companies.

Enter the value you want the friend to receive, then scroll down to what you will pay - it's the same total.
