Looks like he wants to eat that dog!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Certainly is giving it the "eye".

The difference between fierce and goofy.
Make a cool set of decals if somebody could make it up!
Nice picture.
Would like to see some Caudrons as minatures from Ares.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Some more examples.
A Roland C.II
A Farman F.40
We all know who will want a Bristol Fighter like this.
A Caudron G.6
It is a Caudron R.4 on the picture above.
COMPARATIVE R.4 / R.11 (in addition to dimensions and performance)
1) Engine nacelle struts
vertical connecting the upper and lower wings / inclined connecting the engine nacelle to the upper wing.
2) Engine cover
partial leaving the engine visible / complete hiding the engine.
3) Landing gear
2 vertical and 1 inclined uprights / 3 inclined uprights
It is to note that the R.4 front wheel was not mounted on every model.

Beautfiful new "nose arts" thanks David and thanks monse for the comparative R4 - R11 !
Other "dogs" with Belgian Farman F 40 :
These are all some great images. Seems that aircraft nose art is almost as old as the airplane.
One has to wonder: given how long it must take to paint some of these planes, and given how often these planes crashed or were shot down, was it worth even the morale boost.

Wish I knew thread tools better so I could link to a past post like a pro, but instead I'll try brute forcing it like the caveman I am. Check this past post for the info:
