This builder is fascinating by his projects with unusual designs, they made many certain remained on the drawing board sometimes and not all are mentioned on the link, there are many others to discover like this :

I was given the BV 141 kit by Airfix as a child - I wouldn't build it, because I was convinced not all the parts were there!

Indeed, a strange bird. And because it was such an unusual design, widely panned: crops up on almost every "weird aircraft" reference that I've seen. It never actually got into full production, due to competition from better-marketed designs (ex: the W-189, which strongly resembled the US P-38, although it, like the BV-141 was a reconnaissance design, and not a fighter/interceptor), and also problems with the availability of the engine (same one as the FW-190, and naturally, the production was reserved mostly for the latter.)
