Move 1.
Stumptonian stalls setting up a Split-S. Hedeby watches, will he intervene to save his hangar?
Camel crew tries to get on to Baz but Baz slips past. Crash A Lot sets up to jump into the action.
Camelbeagle lets loose into hangar 5 and collapses into a pile of debris.
Baz tries to stop him and places a well-aimed shot into camelbeagle. A loud report is heard above the engine noise but camelbeagle stays focused and destroys hangar 5.
Malachi turns into Baz and Baz feels the sting of hot lead.
The N28 spins out of control with the unconscious Baz unaware how quickly the ground is approaching.
Malachi gets the first kill.
Flash turns left, trying to throw off his pursuers. Key word was trying, both get to shoot into his Pfalz.

A space opens up where a hangar and an airplane used to be.
Move 2.
As Flash climbs Sauerkraut tries to stay on his tail but comes in a hair too fast.
Stumptonian completes his Split-S and lines up hangar 2.
Stumptonian gets hit run at hangar 2 unimpeded as Hedeby turns away.
The open space quickly closes. Camelbeagle catches Gangleader147. Crash A Lot is surprised to see Malachi climb to his level and sends him a welcome.

Stumptonian hits hangar 2 hard and all thats left is a heap of trash.
Away from the peace surrounding Stumptonian, all hell breaks loose.
Sauerkraut and Hedeby get shots on camelbeagle.
Gangleader147 and Crash A Lot gang up on Malachi.
The USAS has finally shown up to the fight.

All the big action is crushing towards the edge of the board.

Looks like I chose to sit out an exciting one; but I'm glad some new people got a chance to play.
I did manage to clear space, so if people want, I can host the next PbEM game. I can promise something different-the hint being, "think big."
Sadly the USAS didn't seem to care about protecting their hangars. I was hoping you would only lose 3-4 of them and still be in the fight.
Well, I'll leave it up to you but this one is technically over. The Germans have destroyed every hangar for 24 points plus 2 more for one kill. Even if the USAS down every Hun with no more losses to themselves they can't catch the Hun in points.
It is just going to be a chase to the left side of the board. I am okay with ending.

I'll post turn 8 later today. I have to head out to get my first vaccine. Nothing local so I'm driving an hour+ to go to Gillette Stadium! I've never been there so I hope they let me get a look inside but I doubt it.
From here on out is where the USAS would have their fun chasing down the Hun as they try to exit so it should not be dull. The challenge for the Germans is to survive while the USAS try to get a kill or two. Not saying the Germans can't get a kill or two themselves.

I gave the Germans a special +1 point for any plane that destroyed a hangar if it left the German edge. If they leave any other edge they lose 1 point.
I didn't tell the Americans directly, I told them not to let the Germans go home. I was going to give them 3 points for a kill. As they didn't save any of their hangars points for kills are now useless.
Now it's down to hunting each other until the Germans decide to fly off board.
