Order of posts

Is there a way of reorganising posts within a thread in reverse order, so that the most recent appears on top?

There is. Go to Settings and then General Settings over on the left menu. On the new General Settings page, scroll down about 3/4 of the way to the Thread Display Options. There is a drop down selection in there that will let you choose how the threads are displayed.
