Default Bit of a post lockdown challenge

    Hi All,
As some of the UK wing know I am a motorcyclist when not playing wings (or re-enacting 17th cent battles).
As most of my hobbies have been extremely limited for the past 12 months, I have decided to do something solo for a good cause.
This summer I will be attempting to ride 1000 miles in 24 hours around the North of England and Scotland for charity.
I am doing this to raise money for the Royal British Legion as part of an event organised by the Royal British Legion Riders Group.
The Legion was formed in 1920 to support Military Veterans of all services in the UK, and still works to support Service Personnel.
I have a just giving page if anyone wishes to support me.

Good wishes equally valuable and acceptable.

    Fly safe.

Great cause John. I hope all the tourists don’t bog you down on the North Coast 500. Donation sent from America!

Ride Safe and apologies that autocorrect decided your last name should really be Bradbury.

Bit of an update; Thursday before Easter swung the prop and set off heading south on an early patrol. 'pon my fob sir, the cold was excruciating! RTB after 30 mins. Later took a run out just round the county. 81 miles only but it's a start.

Just pretend you are piloting a Camel at 15,000 ft... in the winter. Careful of the cold, it is insidious and sneaks up on you! Your body stops responding well to the ole brain's inputs.

I once had to camp on the frozen Ross Sea for 2 nights. By the end, I had to focus just to stand up without stumbling and ending up on my ass.
