    The photograph below is from German Air Aces of World War One by Alex Imrie. I had assumed that when an AEG have four crewman that the complement was forward gunner, rear gunner, pilot and copilot. This photo shows that the copilot position was a third gunner! I would say limited firing arcs like the Aviatik C.I. I am going to have to reconsider the card I made for this airplane.

    It also looks like the propellers are further forward that Daryl's top-down view in his Wings of Linen wiki would indicate, but I could be wrong about that.

    i wonder how often the copilot hit wires and struts when shooting lol?

    It looks like the propellers would hinder the forward observer's shooting also.

    Certainly means a rethink on the arcs of fire for my card too.
