    That is one great picture that shows how fragile those things were with their moth like wings.

    Still fragile and mothlike and yet aircraft design had come so far since 1914. Absolutely incredible to see what they flew in at the start of hostilities. Immensely brave to a man.

    Here is the Sopwith Camel in the collections of the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. It has become a static display as they do not fly it anymore.
