The Wright Flight took to the skies again. Been a while do to current events, but we managed to get together today and have a great day. In attendance were Dan (camelbeagle), Bill (Old guy), Ray (G Dog), Sean, Joe, and Jacob.
Game 1
Game 1 we had American Nieuport 28 planes vs some German Fokker Dr.I planes.
Everyone sizing up their targets. How will the initial exchanges pan out.
The Germans outflank the Americans!
Initial pass complete, the Americans must rethink their tactics.
A few cards of dog fighting and lots of shooting.
The first Nieuport falls.
The fight continues.
Double kill in the turn. First a Fokker falls.
Then another Nieuport falls.
Three planes left. Two to one odds. The Nieuport flees to fight another day.
That leaves two Fokker DR.I left on the board.
German Victory!
Game 2
Second game put two SE5.a and a SPADXI against a Pfalz DIIIa, Fokker E.V and a Ufag C.I
First attack run and we all FLY RIGHT BY EACH OTHER!
The combatants get their orientations straight and the fight gets intense.
The SE5.a have the Ufag in their sights and Ufag cannot shake them.
The SPADXI just cannot sustain the combat and goes down.
That SE5.a is tailing the Ufag pretty tight.
One of the SE5.a flees due to taking too much damage.
The Ufag cannot shake the other SE5.a and the Pfalz DIIIa cannot catch up to the fast British plane.
The Ufag manages to escape before the SE5.a can finish him.
The second SE5.a heads home due to severe damage.
That leaves the Pfalz DIIIa and the Fokker E.V on the board.
German Victory!
