A cheeky Hun (Windy Jack) is leisurely stooging around the front lines taking holiday snaps on his Leica when he is espied by an eagle eyed Anzac in a Bristol (Baxter (with Lt Caspurr as Observer)). Skilfully the handsome Anzac manoeuvres onto the Huns tail but things then went awry



























The Hun was none other than Windy Von Jack, and his laughter at such an easy victory echoed over the lines for many days.

P.S. we swapped planes and did a replay and the result was the same. The Halberstadt is a good plane, not as fast, but it can turn inside the Bristol.

Blimey, that Jerry in the first mission had bullet resistant dope by the looks of it ! No wonder he was laughing.

It must be the plane and not the pilot, that Halbestadt. After all we had two different pilots and ended up with the same result. But isn't it a bit spooky that both times the poor Bristol was taken out with a Boom after all the other damage it had accrued.
