Some time back I inherited a box of metal WW2 ships - Americans Germans British, Japanese and Italian - about 200 all told, painted to a wargames standard. The box says they are 1/1200 but I think they are more likely 1/2400 or smaller, I am not au fait with scales naval wargamers use. Whatever it is, it's a scale and period not of my interest. None of my club wants them and they went through a couple of Bring and Buys without any interest.
Therefore, if anyone wants them let me know. You can have them for the cost of postage and packing, but bear in mind there is about 4.5 Lb of metal so it could be a bit pricey. Obviously, if we meet at shows (remember them?) there can be a handover.
A couple of nopes:
- No, I haven't counted them so I don't know how many of each nation there are
- No, I will not be splitting up the box. If you want them, you want them.
- No, I won't be posting to the U.S. or Canada. U.K. only and perhaps Europe (providing I don't have to fill out shedloads of Customs forms)
- No, I don't know what the postage is yet. I suggest you look at the Royal Fail website to find out how much the thieving sods want for a 4Lb 5oz 7"x9"x2.5" parcel, and decide if you want to cough up the postage.
Please PM me if interested.
