Bulldogs Aerodrome:
Okay chaps! There have been a lot of bosch patrols lately. We need to go up and rough them up and show them up. Lt Robert Armstrong and 2Lt Arthur Burger. Take a couple of the DH.2 up and see what you can shoot down at first dawn.
2Lt Robert Howe and 2Lt Ian Aldridge. After noon tea, you two go up in those new Nieuport 17 and see what you can do with those new birds.
Sir, those Nieuports are not even marked yet. They still have the French roundels.
I don’t care soldier. Get it in the air.

Morning Patrol
In the morning patrol the British DH.2 surprised the two German Fokker E.III over German territory.
They pounce on Fischbacher. Armstrong’s Sharp Eye hits home and gives Fischbacher a very very bad wound. Burger’s plane gets shot up pretty good. (Ignore the damage to Armstrong. Mistake that I caught later). (Also, I goofed up while writing this and scratched out the ruler from Armstrong to Fischbacher. That is suppose to be there)
A furball happens as all the planes get jumbled up. Bohm gets a shot at Burger and damages his rudder controls. Fischbacher’s gun fire tears through Armstong’s plane. Causing it to catch fire and injuring Armstong.
The planes pull of the initial assaults. Fischbacher is hurt bad. He is returning back to base.
Bohm gets the plane turned around and sends more bullets towards Burger.
Bohm presses the attack on Burger. Armstong has a bead on him and sends bullets back.
Bohm, concentrating on Burger, does not pay attention to Armstong. They collide, but luckily nothing major happened.
Bohm, absolutely furious and filled with rage, continues to attack Burger.
Bohm shoots up Burger’s plane till there is no fabric left. Burger goes down.
Armstong catches up with Bohm. Again, his Sharp Eye is on target. Giving Bohm a damaged engine.
The two warriors manage to disengage each other. Armstong, wounded and his plane in horrible shape from a very bad fire that just went out decides to head home. Bohm, knowing his damaged engine cannot keep up with the British scout does the same.
Afternoon Patrol
Shortly after starting their patrol, the German Halberstadts surprise the two British Nieuports still floating around German Lines.
The British are more than ready for a fight. Luckily Howe Checked his Bullets before he left the aerodrome. Paid off from the start!
Knacke gets into the fight and manages to hit the fuel line on Aldridge’s Nieuport. Aldridge responds with bullets of his own damaging Knacke’s rudder.
Knacke manages to work through the rudder damage and maneuver himself behind Aldridge. Aldridge is having a bad time of the fire doesn’t even know the German is behind him. Between the horrible fire and the bullets Aldridge goes down.
The combatants get reset. This time the brave Howe flies towards the to German aircraft. He scores a wound on Braun.
Howe tries to maneuver around the Halberstadt planes, but Knacke has him figured out and sends more bullets to greet the British pilot.
Knacke presses the attack. His guns jam, but he manages to get enough rounds out to take down Howe.
