Default Inquiry for 1/144 Pheon decals

I have made an inquiry for 1/144 decals on Pheon decals, based in France. I am curious for their answer. Technically they only have to scale down the existing vectors, or am I wrong?

I hope you get a response. I've been asking about a rescale of their upcoming ruston wings of horus camel decals to 1/48 with no response.

If they rescale that would be wonderful. They have a great line of decals.

They have some nice stuff. If they would scale to 1/144 I would buy a lot!

The size of the image can be changed but there are other factors.

The re-sized graphics will still have to be organized on a decal sheet so that there's enough room to cut out the images, if on a single sheet of film. If they are individual decals, they must be organized so that the clear sealant doesn't overlap images.

The decals will have to fit a logistically supportable sheet of decal paper, have an appropriately sized bag/envelope, and be entered into the inventory and accounting systems.

The images themselves may need to be edited. As an example, given a 1/48the scale, nicely detailed, coat-of-arms, that includes a lion rampant. The lion rampant has eyes, teeth, claws, a sword, a crown, and so on. The details are surrounded by a very thin black line. The line separates and defines the details. At 1/48th scale, it looks great. When reduced to 1/144th scale the lines are still there and they may overwhelm the details.

If they're going to make a profit, they also need to sell enough to make it worthwhile. When I was initially looking into getting decals made, I contacted a decal printing company in the US. The company had a minimum order of 1000 sheets. I haven't come close to selling half of that of any decal sheet.

Just my glass-is-half-empty thoughts. And now, back to my VAT research. Kevin
