Renault and aeronautics is the story of a passion that began at the beginning of the First World War.

Renowned engine manufacturer who equipped many aircraft including the Breguet, Potez etc then the Caudron which he became the owner of in the 30s.
But this one I’m introducing to you I haven’t seen anywhere?

This is not the A.R made in collaboration with Dorand , it is indeed an aircraft entirely designed by Renault in 1918.

The name of Renault O1 is visible on this unique picture of the prototype taken from a rare book : " Renault et l'aviation " from Gilbert Hatry
