I did look at getting that for my youngest but in fairness he picked up Battlegroup when I set up a tank v tank game.

Oh now they have pre-assembled tanks!
(looking at 2-3 58 qt totes full of to be assembled models)
So how does this compare with the Tanks game, David?

I looked online; it's the same game with a few updated tweeks, a couple of rules changes to account for the WoTs players building units with no regard to nationality (maybe a fun time with WoG?),
    and slightly different components.
Oh, and pre-built and primed tanks,

The Pzkpfw IV with Zimmerit detail? Pretty sweet. If the other tanks are as detailed, they are worth getting just for display.

Minimal painting would make them nice looking on the table.

An example of a two color paint job on a 'Tanks' Pzkpfw VI:

I bought the TANKS game last year and have 60 of the tanks for that game. Watched a video about World of Tanks and it seems to be the same or close to the same as the TANKS game. Vehicles are the same scale so I guess you could use either set of rules. I do like the Zimmerit on the Pzkw IV. Mighr just have to get a few of them and use the models from TANKS as IV D"S.

Really, they are almost the same rules.
Here's a vid comparing the two (not the best narrator, but there you go).

WoT is to Tanks what WoG is to WoW in a way - same game, rebranded with rules tweaked.

They've been out at Entoyment for quite a while - currently £24.75 in the BFS (was £33)

Karl that is a different video then the one I saw but shows them side by side. It's like Dave said like WoG and WoW.

Actually, there is much less difference between Tanks and WoTM than there is between WGF and WGS.
