ATTACK AGAINST THE MOHNE DAM scenario.

1-2- Thanks to many training sessions, the maneuvers sequence to drop the bomb in the correct axis has been determined :
Starting in the corner of the mat at altitude 1, the bomber must perform two low speed straight maneuvers, than one high speed 30° left turn (not the 25° turn) :

3- Spotlight is on, first straight maneuver to check the dropping point of the bomb.
(The correct distance must be between the railway line and the road on left and right sides of the banks lake).
Forward gunner can’t fire during the dropping sequence.
Shots from both light AA guns : 6 damage points, multiple crew hits (rear gunner disabled) :

4- Spotlight on, second straight maneuver.
The bomb is dropped.
Shots from the four AA guns (19 points, right rudder jammed) :

5- Green Lancaster : Spotlight off. Shots from the four AA guns with night attack limitation (choice of the lower damage chits), 5 damage points.
Bomb token is moved with ruler 1.
Yellow Lancaster is on its way :

6- Green Lancaster : shots from both dam AA guns (5 points).
Bomb token is moved with ruler 2.
Yellow Lancaster : Spotlight is on, first straight maneuver and dropping point.
Shots from both light AA guns (8 points).

7- Green Lancaster : Bomb token is moved with ruler 3 -> the dam is hit ones.
Shots from two AA guns (3 points).
Yellow Lancaster : Spotlight on, second straight maneuver. The bomb is dropped.
Shots from two AA guns (5 points) :

8- Green Lancaster : Shots from a light AA gun (0 point).
Yellow Lancaster : Bomb token is moved with ruler 1.
Spotlight is off but Lanc’s forward and rear gunners fire at two AA guns (6 points and 1 point).
Shots from three AA guns (10 points, left rudder jammed) :

9- Green Lancaster : Shots from a light AA gun (5 points - plane is shot down).
Yellow Lancaster : Bomb token is moved with ruler 2.
Lanc’s rear gunner fires at a light AA gun (3 points - destruction).
Shots from three AA guns (16 points, smoke , two engines damaged ) :

10- Yellow Lancaster : Bomb token is moved with ruler 3 -> the dam has been hit twice and is destroyed.
As it has received 39 damage, Lanc’s gunners don’t fire to be less visible but shots from three AA guns shot down the bomber (9 points) :

Winning conditions
the allied score 13 points, so it is a substantial victory.
Dam destruction -> 25 points
Two bombers shot down -> -24 points
Three bombers not entering play -> 12 points
The second bomber shouldn’t have fired with its machine guns to remain less visible and draw potential low points damage chits :

Still need to try the scenario out.
Have had the Lancs for 4 years and done nothing with them.
Even with COVID lockdowns there doesn't seem to be any time.

REP on the way, but not by rotating bomb ....
