Default SARS-CoV-2 positive. Have a drink on me, chaps!

Well, the disease is round here. Made a test today with a positive outcome.
I do not feel bad, just having 37-38 C, nothing more, but must step back and be isolated.
Promise to stand all of you as many drinks as you can drink after coming back from our home base infirmary.
But for now, you may just have a drink on me.

That's hard luck Andrjez, how do you think you picked up the infection and how are the rest of the family ?
I wish you all the best and hope you recover without any further issues.

Luckily I've repeatedly tested negative so far (part of a study) and now England is back into lockdown as of today.

    Sorry to hear that, Andrzej.

I do hope your sensible isolation will prevent the spread to members of your family.

Stay strong, stay active as far as you can within your isolation regime.

I'll happily join you in a drink , but drink is NOT a cure or a preventative measure (unlike some poor Social Media advice!) so take it in moderation!

    Hey Andrzej,

sounds not so good, but not too bad either.
Just stick to the medical advice, keep calm and take a rest, not much else to do.
I hope you didn't pass the virus on to your family ...
    Good luck,

Prays for you, and your family. I hope no other symptoms arise.
Stick with the tried and true fluids: juice, tea and water.
And rest, even if you don't think you need it.
And yes, I see many new planes and AARs in the next 2 weeks

Thank you all, chaps! Here I am to report that my war with the virus is finally over! I have not noticed any symptoms since 11.11.20 (what a date!) and feel totally healthy. No temperature above normal, no coughing, just total victory, so to say. My wife caught that hell as well, but after several really bad days now she is getting better and we see a big light at the end of the tunnel. Our daughter has had no symptoms at all.
The good thing is I lost 4kg due to less alco consumption (my wife states so).

    Awesome news!

I read, last night, about individuals that are suffering lingering effects from this virus. They are being called "Long-Haulers", and the doctors are still trying to figure out what is happening with them.

Still sending positive vibes to you and yours.

Hi Andy, that is great news indeed!

We have just had another minor outbreak here in South Australia 17 cases over the weekend and 1 extra since then after months and months of no new cases so everyone just a little nervous.

Sorry to hear about your positive result. Stop waiting for the vaccine as I think alcohol must kill just about any bug going so my advice is, stay at home and just get stoned. Cheers mate and stay safe.
