Any "dogfight" space game is a fantasy. If using reactionary drives, burning fuel, there is no way to maneuver as shown in Star Wars or other movies/shows.
The few space battles I've seen in 'The Expanse' are a bit closer to reality.

Exactly, but the article does a very good job of explaining in straightforward language how engagements between spacecraft are likely to be fought out in reality - as well as pointing out the hazards of doing so (kiss goodbye to everybody's satellites in LEO just from debris effects if two nations decide to start plinking each other's).
I suspect there is an interesting wargame sitting within the text there........
I seem to remember a couple of realistic space combat games out there.
Not sure how they did on the market.
