I wonder what decal schemes they are going to have?
I ordered 2 planes from them today! Fokker EIIIs!
They are nice kits! A lot of little bits.
I may buy some of those when they are released. I have tried and failed in the past to build these Valom kits. Is there a how to build guide somewhere? As they do look outstanding once they are completed. As I have seen Tim's builds in person and just wish that I had half of his skill and patience to build these fiddly kits.
I've made an how-to for the Valom SE5a:
https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/sh...ding+Valom+se5
I hope Vaclav took heed of my recommendation to simplify some parts (one part underwings, struts combined to rectangle shape with slots in the wings, engine always plastic and resin optional), to comply wargame customers.
Definitely check out Florian's "How To". It is the only reason I didn't immediately give away my Valom kits upon arrival and inspection.
Of course, I still haven't assembled any... but it gave me hope!
Ok, I like the paint schemes. I may have to get one of these.
Wanted to preorder two kits (unfortunately not possible). Václav told me the kit will be available between January-February.
I am definitely interested in this.
I have also recently skimmed through Florian's SE.5a tutorial. I have a better idea of what I'm getting into, and I would like to see more build logs of Valom's kits. I'm not sure how he managed to properly fold that gun though...
The gun can't be folded safely, if I remember correctly. I tried to fold it, it breaked and I clued the parts together.
Waiting with much anticipation!
Just ordered a few Pfalz from Václav. There are other stores which state a shipping date of March the 18th.
Hopefully they start to show up in the US before too long!!!
Saw on ebay that they are for sale in the UK. I have a couple of Ares Pfalz that I intend to do as Jasta 30 planes. When they're available in the US I'll add to those two. I find it easier to use do the some of the paint schemes I want to do with a valom kit than an Ares repaint - i.e., for applying homemade decals.
FYI - the paint schemes are Carl Degelow (Jasta 7), Hans Georg van der Marwitz (Jasta 30), Hans Burhard von Buttlar (Jasta 18) and Hans Muller (Jasta 18 - Raben's Ravens). All excellent choices.

Looks there's be more than a couple I'll buy. Worth it for the decals alone.
Just ordered 4 boxes!
More Valomy goodness!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
The only thing I am missing on this kit is an option with a Lozenge decal.
