Can't wait to see what all those Albatros look like when finished.
So far this month I've only managed to do some 10mm Soviet infantry and some command groups for Battlegroup Northag. At that scale I was glad they weren't in camo uniforms.....
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Chris those BSG ships are great looking. Steve I have a hard time with 15mm don't know how you do 10 mm.
Very nice work Chris.
You need to pump them into BSG: Ship Mods/Painting

Dave, this is looking magnificent But do you have to builld a second version showing the breach after the raid or is there a removable chunk in the middle?
So how many books are in your personal library?
Have to make the center section be able to be removed and the breach section replace that part. If he didn't think of that before you have his mind chruning now.
Damn that looks good...

Like sausage, I try not to think how the Upkeep bombs may be made.
Looking great, Dave!
I can hear it now:
Mrs. Clipper: "Are you working on that dam model again!?"
looks like you have the whole damn thing about finished!!!
Ok, one more rehab. A 1/48 scale P51B - The Bald Eagle - which flew over Normandy on D-Day to support the landing with straffing and bombing runs. The Bald Eagle is from The 361st Fighter Group, "Yellowjackets" as distinguished by the yellow nose. My Father built this decades ago, but it was in fairly good condition. The decals were in good condition but still needed some touch up as well as the stripes (cleaning was not enough). The major update was the repaint of the olive to the actual Navy Blue on the Bald Eagle. I am not sure why Dad used the olive, other than it may have looked that way on the kit box. Note the Malcolm Hood canopy prefered by many P51 pilots over the later bubble canopy of the P51Ds.

This is the ship out of the storage box. the following are finish photos.

Lovely work and model! I don't see any complaints on your efforts at all, keep up the great work. We are all about family flying culture . . .

Bob, really nice Ottoman planes.
Those look great, Bob!
Those are some well stocked ottomans. Nice job!
I decided that my Zeppelin needed a storage solution that also doubled as safe transportation.
The starting point was the box it was shipped in:
After a bit of thought, I decided that upside down was the best solution for storing the Zeppelin and so I created two bulkheads from some spare foam board left over from a previous project. In fact most bits were constructed of foam board along with a few odd bits of black foam packing from a recent 3D printed purchase. The cross pieces are a push fit and are held in place when the lid is closed.
Removing them allows the Zeppelin to be lifted out.
You can see the bulkheads and also the black foam to protect the nose and tail of the Zeppelin.
I built a small compartment to hold the base.
And another to hold the two telescopic stands.
Now my Zeppelin can travel in style with no possibility of any delicate bits coming detached. The next stage will be to design a suitable covering for the outside of the box - thinking, thinking, thinking...
