Thread: L-10 Type P Zeppelin 1/288" Scale

    Default L-10 Type P Zeppelin 1/288" Scale

So this beauty has been a long train coming. It first appeared as a skeleton model designed to be covered with tissue or such, I bought two of them but could not cover the beautiful structures then the prices climbed and Daryl of RAF recently remade it with skin and in two parts, but a hefty price, but hey it's a lonely Zeppelin in need of a warm hanger, so I bought one. Not sure what to do with it, then it arrived!

Lovely model. I've often wondered why the Germans didn't mass their Zeppelin force - as you appear to have done - and just bomb the crap out of Haig's and/or Petain's HQs?

The Zepps proved way too vulnerable over the Front; the German Army got rid of theirs quite quickly.
Ground fire forced them to higher altitudes, with possible stronger winds, and bombing at night prevented formation flying.

Dave, I like the Salvador Dali clock next to your workstation. Plus the dinosaurs escorting the Zeppelin.
So how many books are in your personal library?
