    Default Sea Fury prang

A Sea Fury out of Duxford crash landed yesterday evening. Both occupants sustained minor injuries. The cause of the crash is not known at present.

    Sad.

Hope the crew make quick recoveries.

Looking at the plane, it may well be a write-off

Dang. Hopefully the crew will be alright.
I like how they say "significant damage", when the nose fell off

    Squashed... fell off...whatever.

The pilot must have bleeped himself as his cockpit tore apart!

That's a real shame. Pilot and crew able to walk from crash but taken to hospital for checks after experiencing back pains. Hopefully their recovery will be swift

Nothing good ever comes from ramming a tree. Glad to hear that both crew were able to exit the wreckage unaided.

Yes saw a pic of that on Facebook.
So glad pilot & passenger survived the crash.
Reminded me of that old poem "I thought that I would never see a Tiger Moth up in a tree".

Well it was stupid enough to jump in front of a moving plane, so it got what was coming to it
