Thread: Advanced v2 Solo Rules by Blackronin & Peter L - where are they?

Default Advanced v2 Solo Rules by Blackronin & Peter L - where are they?

I've recently stumbled across the nifty app for playing WoG solo.
It features / accomodates three solo rules sets, on of which is entitled "Advanced v2 by Blackronin & Peter L."
The app indicates that the rules can be found on this site, but I'm having a terribly difficult time attempting to do so.
I'm finding lots of solo card sets, but not solo rules per se.
And I can't for the life of me find anyting referred to as Advanced v2 by Blackronin & Peter L.
Might someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction here?

    Thank you!

James - Files / WW1 / look at scenarios and click on sun caegories: Solo rules gets you here:
    https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/do...p?do=cat&id=63
Bottom of page 1 onwards you'll find the charts..

PS. Not sure rules are written down anywhere, mostly followed Richard Bradleys lead on that.
https://herkybird.tynesidewargames.co.uk/wofg.html Each chart has a rule summary attached.

Thank you. That's what I was able to find.
But the app incorporates info such as "near" versus "far," "closing" versus "moving away"
I can't find anything that explains that. And it's purportedly specific to the above referenced version of the solo rules set.

After some additional poking around, it appears as though the rules set is not contained in a separate document anywhere, but rather appended to the solo decks themselves.

    Which is as I said.
In a nutshell - you put a template on the base of the AI plane - determine in which zone the target lies - decide if the target is closing or moving away on the plane - roll a dice - check the chart for the relevant result & and select the cards.
My D8 charts work in a similar fashion as they are derived from Richards original work and Joaquim's expansion and I have created a document which is in the same file section. There is a further explanation in this thread:

My development will differ slightly as they are the conclusion of years of solo gaming and my own ideas but are based on similar premise so may help your cause.
The alternative would be to PM the authors. Teaticket is about frequently, Blackronin & Herkybird less so but may still field and answer for you.
