    Default Deepcut Mats At Entoyment

Today I nipped into Entoyment for the first time since lockdown began and had a chat with Peter & the gang.
They are weathering the storm so far but understandably things are tight. The shop is operational, it has a new food service & till area; the layout has changed a lot but still rammed with all sorts of good stuff (including Wings/Sails/Tripods) and the upstairs is now open for gaming - table numbers reduced and spaced out which can be seen here:

Not sure they are able to host FC just yet because of the numbers involved but lets see what happens over the next few weeks/months.

Anyway - the point of the message is they now sell the superb range of Deepcut Studio mats from the store...
    Aerial fields:

    MiG Alley:

So get 'em while they're hot !

    Thanks Dave.

Andy has it right Chris Ł53.10 for the 6x4's. That's about what the Deepcut boys were selling them for at shows last year (they charged Euros & converted to GBP on the day). You can buy direct from them (Lithuania) but I'm told the postage is a killer.
Peter was saying they're currently discounted by 10% but they may have to remove that due to costs getting them in so they could easily go up. Having said that they are good value & even 10% dearer they're still cheaper than three WoG mats.
They sell the full range of terrain types & sizes so prices vary but the two I featured are 6x4', they even do a decent sea one for the SoG types.

I am thinking that maybe the MIG alley mat could be used for the Italian Theatre also?

Uh oh Dave. That could cost me, next time I'm down your way - which hopefully will not be tooooooo long now. Thanks for the heads up.

If they are the mousepad material, thats a bargain price, I bought a sea mat for Christmas and it was E64.90 plus postage which currently is E14.90

I hummed and hawed at that cost but Ł53.10 is a no brainer in my opinion. I'm immensely pleased with the mat I bought.

I've got the mousepad "Aerial" mat, and it's great!

Might have to get a "MiG Alley" one though, now I've seen it for the first time.

Think I'll add one to my Christmas list. The Wog ones are great for terrain variety though.

I like the WOG ones for WWI. The seem about the right definition for flying those aircraft.
For WW2 I am looking forward to trying the new mat from Deepcut.

I will pop another photo in when I use it. Comes in a nice see through quite robust plastic case as you may have noticed. Just a pity it could not make its debut at Donny!

You are spot on Rob. I purchased this mat a few weeks ago and it is top shelf. It is easy to roll up and put back in the clear plastic bag that comes with it. I was hesitant because of the cost, but once I laid hands on it... no regrets. Those Deep Cut guys make a great product.

At a push 15mm but made for 28mm. I've got some 15mm, no buildings though I'll try and get a pic for you.
