A book at The Works

I found this book in my local branch of 'The Works' for only £6.



I believe that it is a compilation of Thomas New****'s 'German Fighters of World War II' and 'German Bombers of World War II' also published by Amber.

It contains many colour profile drawings. In addition to 'the usual suspects' it includes some lesser types, experimental aircraft and some foreign aircraft pressed into German service. I expect that the data is available in other books but this one has a visual appeal.

Good spot David. It's always worth having a look in The Works as they occasionally have some gems on their shelves going cheap. I recently picked up a couple of Haynes manuals in our local shop, on the SE5a and Vickers Wellington for £7 each.
