Well this one is up close and personal! I think you're right about being a Hind.
Hoisting aboard ship, maybe? It's definitely Shuttleworth's ex-Afghan Hind.

The hooks do not look strong enough for hoisting aboard ship and anyway the Hind was a land based aircraft. They are not the attachment points for the radio aerial. They were further out on the wings. Possibly the hooks were for attaching camouflage netting or some form of tent or guy ropes to attach to pegs to secure the aircraft on the ground in windy weather.
