Baby Zep. was my first immediate reaction. All the Zeps look fantastic.
A half scale zepp would work quite nice for a game.

I think it just highlights how amazing David's work is at 1:144 scale! If I tried to make a 1:144 zeppelin for Shapeways, it would probably have to be in four sections and would cost $600-$1200. (It does work nicely for the handful of us with 1:285-1:300 planes, though.)
There's probably nothing you could put on the table at a convention that would attract more attention than a 1:144 zeppelin (once we get past Covid). Ares should sponsor them at every major show and keep a stock of two-plane starter boxes on the side, ready to sell.
Those zeppelins are incredible Cannot imagine how intimidating one would be in a game
Absolutely Beautiful! I think I would need a bigger gaming table.
I think you have built more air ships then were really built. Great job as always.
They're fantastic!
I love mine!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Amazing buddy - Yea I've seen Tim's at shows and it really is a major attraction One of these days we should have an event where someone must land on it with a Nieuport. But I'm not sure Tim would approve
Whoa!
Wow David! The elves really got it going good. Those are most impressive.
Just try to imagine the bravery of the crew, going into combat in one of these! Love it!
Bob, can you do a straight down photo of the top of the Ago C.IIW? I'm trying to design a card and I need to see now much of the floats and struts are visible from above.
So how many books are in your personal library?
On the virtual workbench... still refining the details and translating to smaller scales...
We have lots of Gotha G.Vs available, but it was the Gotha G.IV that performed daylight raids on London. The biggest difference is the much larger engine nacelles -- in the G.V the tanks were moved to the fuselage to reduce the risk of fire.
Yes and that is later version of the plane.
Nice photos. Thanks for posting them. I only had what I could find on the web to see what they may have been painted like. I guess I came close.
When visited Old Rhinebeck there wass nothing going on so didn't get to see anything in the air. Did have a great time just roaming around and taking our time walking around the area. Hope you can find those photos.
Bob, Awesome planes!
Clipper, your work is amazing!
I like that painting -- it's like what Van Gogh would have painted if he was living in London in 1916.
Forgot to mention that the Caudron G III/AEG G III & AEG CIV are RAF (Daryl) models and the AGO CIIW is by our own jbmacek (Columbia Aerodrome in Shapeways). Decals are MISCMINI and from the Aerodrome store.
Great looking U-Boat Gallo Rojo! I just bought U-BOOT The Board Game and Im very jealous.
More amazing work David, most of us can only sit and drool in wonder.
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Daryl, that Gotha G.IV will be a nice addition to our fleets. Daylight raids and there were more of them than the G.Vs, whats not to love!
Lots of cool planes Bob. Your output is amazing.
I think Clipper's Elves have a sinister plan. They have made more Zepps than Imperial Germany!
Here is the last of my last order. It is a SPAD XIV floatplane. Not sure of what color to paint it so I painted it like the DD 8 I did last month. Model is by jbmacek-aerodrome member- with MISCMINI decals. Bought a set of the GRIFFON decals he has so used one on this plane.
Again something different you don't see everyday.
So much activity on all fronts. The Ottoman's, Imperial Zeppelins hovering just offshore under fire, and planes, planes, planes. Projects galore! Keep up the great work. I've stalled on my WW1 armor but plan to push forward with all this inspiration.
Bob, loving your planes!
That's a good looking aircraft Bob.
After my 1st seaplane/float plane/flying boat. I find them to be pretty cool looking. I have another in my next Shapeway order.

oh oh oh those look amazing dave!!! i can almost hear their engines!
Not so much what's on the work bench, but what's come off the work bench - most recently some terrain and a few years of painting. This is the Battle of Mockern, 16th October, 1813 - the northern sector of the Battle of Leipzig (aka the Battle of Nations). The largest battle in the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars - over a half million troops were engaged. I first planned this in 2012 but it's taken a long time. The current battle is by email with 2 players in Australia and in Canada. The game has over 1700 miniatures. WoG has taken a back seat as a result. A few photos...
Damn nice. The sheer scale of it all - 1700 minis! I got tired of painting a few hundred Zombicide minis. I should stop complaining and get back to work.
Very inspiring, Paul!
Yeah, some people call me crazy! Beautiful work, a true labor of artistry!
Wow, Paul that is awesome!
