I would like you all to raise a glass to celebrate the promotion of Monse (Simon) of the French wing to the rank of Flight Leader Ile de France. Wine naturally must be drunk but exceptions for Pernod and Eau de Vie are acceptable.
With his promotion came mine to Squadron Leader France, and I will be looking to my fellow Squadron leaders for advise and guidance in this role.
