Default Airfix / Bachmann Mini Planes

Just found a "airfix" or "Bachmann" Miniplane on the Internet.

Anyone Knows Them? They seem to be from the 70th and nearly the Same as the wow/wog Planes. Even the small Pilot.

Could this be the templates for the wow/wog Planes?

    Here are some Pictures:

Scales are off for WoG, and not consistent. The ones I've seen for WW1 range between 1/90 & 1/140 (which may be close enough), the WW2 types are all over the range except 1/200 I think. I have a Ju88 somewhere which is 1/175 or 186 or something & noticeably too big for WoG.

I bought 2 Albatros D.V off ebay - they too are too big, perhaps 10% larger.

The Nieuport 17 is BIGGER than the SE5a - should be the other way around.

I wish manufacturers would not make 'fit in the box' scale models and that they were compelled to print the scale of a model clearly on the packaging.

These were very much toys, I had quite a few when I was a youngster in the 1970s. I wasn't that fussed about scales, but I did like that the wings on my Corsair folded, and that you could raise and lower the undercarriage

They do - the scale's given on the back of the box - iirc the SE5a model is given as 1/100 so that will give you some reference for the others shown above.
