    Default Different paint schemes Nexus-Ares

    Hi together,

perhaps someone can help me with the following Image:

    Name: Wowo1.jpg
Views: 259
Size: 39.0 KB

    1. With the Fonck Spad XIII it seems that the paint schemes are different (one Brown - one green). Is it really like that they are different or is it just the Images?

    2. Also the Nungesser Nieuport look different (my Nexus is also slighty blue). Are there differences?

    3. Are the UFAG despite of the names (161-37 and Luftfahrttruppe) the same?

    4. The R.a.F. of Dallas seems exaclye the same paint scheme. But on the Images it seem like one have "two Propeller" and one just "one Propeller"?

    Thanks a lot.

    1) The picture of the Spad XIII Fonck is not correct on the Ares website (colours seem to be too bright).
But the Nexus and Ares versions have different colours :
On the Ares version, green is more kaki, light brown on the fuselage and horizontal tail plane instead of pink and grey, the red star is brighter.

On next pictures, WOG mini on left, WOW mini on right

    2) the WOG Nungesser Nieuport has a more accurate upper wing camo with 2 colors and not a single colour.
The black heart insignia is bigger on the Ares version.

    3) UFAG C.I : WOG 161-37 and WOW Luftfahrttruppe are the same.
Better decal adjustment on the WOG UFAG C.I fuselage.
More accurate iron grey for the rear gun and radiator on the WOG.
Camo hex on the wings are not at the same place.
Grey, yellow and brown are a little darker in the Ares version.

    4) Dallas RAF SE.5a : that is correct, WOW one has a two bladed propeller and WOG one has a four bladed propeller.
Ares has edited two SE.5 / SE.5a with a two bladed propeller and one SE.5a with a four bladed propeller.
Nexus produced two four-bladed propeller SE.5a and one two bladed propeller SE.5

Ares tried to revise them for more accuracy. Which Dallas is correct, though? And it looks like I need to find another Bishop... they look like different planes from different times.

Just snip two off, or more major surgery?
