Fun game. Two British Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutters on bombing mission with French Nieuport 17 escort. On the defense was two Fokker D.II and two Halberstadt D.III. The Strutters were close, but missed their targets. Two German Pilots shot down and all the British return home. 5 different pilots got wounded. BLOODY! Great game!
"Things that go boom" indeed. Mostly what went boom were the pilots heads.

Fun game balloon busting! It didn't stand a chance!!!
Great news, Peter and Bob did not get any booms!Heck, they both survived the mission!!!!
No booms for Bob or I, that was a nice surprise. It's also nice when you have rockets and they both hit! Only one downed plane as Thomas was unlucky and received 2 booms. Several planes had to fly their pants off to survive so there was some great maneuvering on display.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck Zen. We had either no shooting going on, or a bunch of shooting going on! A lot of planes shot up!!!!! Only two went down though!

It was a fun night. Bomber hitting it's target even if partially, fires, booms, collisions and jams. Mike finally got some of what he has wanted with 3 KIAs for the campaign!
It's been a while since we had a pilot not survive.
Well, we made up for it this week!
We've been living on the edge for several weeks now. Lots of pilots down and until this week almost no one was killed.
The dangers of using a blue die! Next time I will choose a more happy color!

Late posting but last weeks game was a good one. I was able to use my ACE skill to down the bomber after he caused damage to the bridge. Then my being on fire didn't help me in the end. Down in flames but had a good time.

Well lasted 4 turns last night. Peter was on fire but I decidec to go after the planes going after the Caudron. Got myself in a good position, right between two Germans. I did have a short shot on Patric. Great shooting 0 hits and jamed my guns. Then took hits and rudder jam. Then Mike took up the slack and shot me down. At least Peter and I didn't get a BOOM card like usual. Good game and fun.

Yes Bob, finally a game where we didn't attract the Booms! I did get set on fire first time I was shot at (as well as Chris) but was happy not to have it a Boom. That threw the game immediately to the Entente as half the Germans had to overdive to put out the fires. C'est la vie. Now my shooting luck is sorely lacking. Last night 4 shots and 3 were zeros. Last week I had 8 shots and 6 zeros.Still always fun flying on Thursday nights, thanks Mike.
Nope, the boom went to me, for a change.
Early on, I decided Peter/Teaticket was as much out of the fight as we needed him to be, so I decided to turn an support Bob & the bombers. I just didn't get there in time.
But it was another fun game, even if I did collect both a collision and a boom.
