Thread: What is your morning view?

  1. #1

Default What is your morning view?

Mrs Clipper joined a site that encourages members to post an unedited view out their window, we did the same thing years ago. Here is my morning coffee view here at the Clipperdome in Surprise, Arizona, where it is currently 101 degrees Fahrenheit. But the view . . . . !!

I wish mine was as nice, but at 3AM, there's not much to see.

Umm...my morning view would be high noon...that or take a pic at dawn before I go to bed....sigh...20 years of midnight shifts will do that to your inner schedule.

Your view is certainly enhanced by those Zeppelins!

This is what I see out the sliding doors of my lounge room whilst having my first cup of Tea before breakfast.

Understandable. Been there, done that. So, what is your high noon time wake up view to your part of the world?

    G'day Bob!
The mob varies a lot depending on time of year & if drought conditions or plenty of Feed available on other properties.

This is the patio view near the window by the kitchen sink where our coffee maker sits. We're on a half-acre 80x300 lot in town which is long and deep without an alley. Spring will have to move on without my help this year as my head nurse has taken away my gardening privileges due to health issues. Thankfully it has been pleasant weather this Spring and just enjoying the sunshine has been healing.

Here's the a.m. view from our computer room - the hill on the horizon is a couple of miles away, the large tree on the horizon left of frame is on the Meadows beside the river Stour about half a mile away; You can't see it in the photo but the old chimney of the Hall & Woodhouse brewery is just to the right of it, the new brewery is behind it. The trees on the right behind the houses are Angus Wood, a small woodland left to the town & managed by volunteers. Everything is closer than they appear in the pic.

The garden is a work in progress - just behind the birdbath is the pond we dug in last week - already teeming with imported tadpoles and other wildlife from the meadows before their puddle dried out completely.

We have two balconies overlooking the Hudson River -- one off one of the bedrooms and one off the dining room. From May on it is not unusual to see the sloop Clearwater treading the water just below us:

well the top pic would definitely hone your skills in head shots and the bottom pic would be tranquil. I’m just guessing the zombie apocalypse hasn’t started yet even though some place’s look like it has due to Covid 19. So I’ll say the bottom pic is the real one. Lol hahahaha

Luckily the gravel is only the small turn around. The driveway is actually paved. Had gravel in Maine, what a nightmare up there.
