Just thought I would give a call out to our far flung southern colleagues on this ANZAC day.
Salute to all of you and your ancestors who have done the Commonwealth/Empire proud over the past 100 years and more.

Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Many Thanks for your kind thoughts Chris.
Things were rather subdued this year but the "Driveway Candle Remembrance" was a great success.
We, along with many others, held our own ANZAC service at the end of our driveway at 5.50am.
My wife had prepared and hung a hand-crafted wreath on our letterbox:
We then gathered just before dawn with our candles to listen to the broadcast service. I wore my long-deceased uncle's RAAF service badge. He was in training in Canada when the war ended.

Nice touch. I was on my driveway as well, supprised at the number of people I saw in our street!
Hope its not too late to say - thanks guys and Happy ANZAC Day
I'm happy to report that ANZAC Day was officially and fully observed at Scott Base, Antarctica. McMurdo Station sent an official US representative. The stations are only a few miles apart and share a wonderful support partnership.
