    Report:
Red section was ordered to intercept larger group of bombers heading to Dover. First He-111 war observed at 1 o‘clock. S/Ldr Blacwood ordered F/Lt Rypl to attack from right, while he with less experienced P/O Bergman maneuvered to attack from other side with height advantage.

During the attack, section of Ju-87 was remarked. First attack failed, pilot of He-111 maneuvered wisely and descended. S/Ldr Blackwood and P/O Bergman followed He-111 while F/Lt Rypl broke to intercept Ju-87s.

S/Ldr Blackwood and P/O Bergman reached He-111 over the harbour and shot it down. He-111 unfortunately managed to bomb one of cago ships in harbour. F/Lt Rypl’s attack failed as Ju-87s changed the course. So he attack pair of Do-17 who appeared on the scene.

S/Ldr Blackwood and P/O Bergman then attacked Ju-87s, broke their formation and downed all of them.

F/Lt Rypl managed to damage one of Do-17 having forced it to release the load and broke the mission. His Hurricane was hit and caught fire however, so he descended and turned for home base.

Remaining Do-17 bombed successfully the harbour. Both of them were caught and downed on return by S/Ldr Blackwood and P/O Bergman.

P/O Bergman was awarded the Czech War Medal for services to his country.

This was awarded for his destruction of 4 enemy aircraft.

It is a one time award, awarded for life.

Pilot Officer Bergman was also awarded the DFC on receipt of Squadron Leader Blackwoods after action report of the events on 27th July 1940.

    Wow

That was a lot of intense action, Marek. Very well done.

Your planes look excellent, and I like your Bofors.
I usually use those Tanks German dice for my photos as well but forgot to add them this time.
I do use those dice (and the British ones) for my Crash/Wound/Landing/Escape rolls.

Looking at pictures at end I am unsure who pulled the explosion chit between the 3 hurricanes? If they did didn't they go down?

    L to R: 15 damage/2 damage+Exp/8 damage

I take it Sqn Ldr Blackwood used his evasion to discount the explosion chit? Or are you taking explosion chit to be half damage? So his damage would either be 2 or 11.

    S/Ldr Blackwood / RTB / +2 Kills / + 5 XP , Hurricane 65% damaged
    F/Lt Rypl / RTB / + 1 XP, Hurricane 88% damaged
    P/O Bergman / RTB / +4 Kills / + 9 XP, Hurricane 47% damaged

    Hi Neil,

I use to play boom = 50% everyone.
And it was the S/Ldr Blackwood who took it, so he ended up with 11 dmg = 65%. It is seen worse on pics as Hurricannes scissored in position and registrations are not seen well from top view

Other missleading factor is that S/Ldr Blackwood took the boom twice (I have noticed this luck in Off. mess, I guess ) , but the first one he evaded. Only to take it very next round..

I must include name tags to the planes as well. They look cool and add readability. Got inspired . Have already prototypes for next mission..
