Working up an idea for knock down terrain . . . as each bomber drops the area impacted folds down . . . Or changes color. Like a sequin fabric, like this:

Brush the surface one way and it's one color, brush it back and it changes. Might be coolio . . . yea, it's been a long day.

If I remember well, for Ploesti Raid you don't need such high stands - few pegs would be enough

with the high wing on a b-24 shouldnt it be the ball turret thats 360 at same and lower level and the top turret 360 at higher level?

Impressive! I wonder if there is any way to include a FLAK train.

I just went with how other planes were done, never thought about the highers vs lower wings.

Unreal. Now for the German fighters to swarm down on that flight. Is one of them the LADY BE GOOD ?

No. remember, same altitude can still be several hundred feet above. And there's still plenty of fudge factors with the gunnery, so no need to give them any more.

well, with that logic both should be able to shoot at both. i guess as long as theyre not both shooting at the same a/c at a different altitude it doesnt matter much.

Magnificent David - what's the collective noun for a group of B.24's like that ? A thunder of Liberators ?

From the target's perspective, it's a DOOM! of Liberators.

I had hoped to get Hunter's A&A game precisely for that, but was beaten to the punch.

Hunters are enjoying life on the tropical beach of New Zealand. These came from a guy on eBay, all resin casts of the game parts in light grey resin. I was tempted to convert a battle ship into a rail car for the flak train, but ran out of enthusiasm for the project. It is now all boxed up and a 48" Sikorsky S-40 is on the drawing board, which is on the same table that was yesterday Ploiesti, so it goes . . .
