Someone posted this on FB today - "T" sideslip is faster than straight

I've never noticed. This may come handy.

Several decks have a faster sideslip than the straight - it's saved my bacon a number of times!

Tim do you know which ones? I would like to mention it as an interesting deck feature in my app.

Technically, all the sideslips in every deck are faster than straights, as the length of the line from the base of the card to the arrow is longer, if the sideslip arrow is the same distance as a straight. However, the T Deck arrow is even longer than the straight! So, much faster.

This is a known issue from way back in the Nexus days. Previous threads (from before the T deck) suggest P, R, E & G deck also had longer side slips, though I've not verified that myself, or double checked the WoG decks, it's probably still correct.

So here is what we know

Nexus Decks A-N: E and G have the side-slip faster than straight, the rest is all right.

    ------------

Ares Decks: E, P, T, R, Y have the side-slip faster than straight, the rest is ok.

Longer side slip in the Ares Y & R decks Jan but not in the C deck. Don't have the other two.

D'oh - I do have the N deck Jan - the side slip is the same length as the straight, as is the Fr deck for the SE5 which we missed out, so just the A & M deck need checking.

Yep, A and M deck are all right - got a message from our wing.
We've got it all together now. I will add this information to the app as well.
